George Rivera, DDS is committed to upholding CDC and OSHA guidelines for the safety of our patients and staff. We have always followed these guidelines and will continue to follow them, as well as take extra precautions to ensure our patients and staff are protected from potential health risks.
Safety Equipment and Sanitation
Our dental team wears personal protective equipment (PPE) and has implemented safety measures such as social distancing, requiring masks or face coverings in our building, and regularly cleaning our dental practice.
We use medical-grade disinfectants to sanitize all treatment rooms and common areas. George Rivera, DDS also has excellent air filtration, so everyone who enters our office can breathe clean air.
We kindly ask that patients:
- Agree to a brief health assessment before check-in (temperature check, short questionnaire).
- Limit additional visitors from accompanying you during your visit.
- Practice social distancing in our facility.
- Wear a face covering or mask when not receiving treatment.
Dental Aerosol Extractors
In response to COVID-19, we have started using more advanced infection control procedures, including dental aerosol extractors. This technology keeps our patients and staff protected from airborne pathogens and bacteria and improves the air quality in the room. Dental aerosol extractors use high evacuation suction to eliminate excess moisture and spatter during treatment.
If you have questions about our safety procedures regarding COVID-19, please call our dental office. Our team is on standby to answer any of your questions or address your concerns.
